The company designs and manufactures western saddles, horse tack, and equestrian accessories from a 45,000 square-foot facility housing warehousing, manufacturing, finished-goods storage, and shipping. Fabtron is known for lightweight synthetic and hybrid saddle designs that pair the look of traditional leather with the practicality of synthetic materials, and is also the home of Saddles by Crates, a long-established premium leather saddle brand. Product lines: western saddles for trail riding, barrel racing, reining, roping, ranch and work use, plus saddles built for mules, donkeys, and draft horses; a women's saddle line; and a complete tack range covering bits, breast collars, bridles and headstalls, cinchas and girths, halters, hobbles, leads and lunge lines, reins, spurs and stirrups, trailer and walker ties, and pony gear. Accessories include grooming equipment, riding and show accessories, saddle accessories, stable accessories, health and hygiene products, and saddle repair items. Halters and cattle equipment are also made for bulls, cows, and sheep. Brands: Fabtron manufactures under its own name and produces Crates saddles, a premium leather line. All Crates saddle builds begin at the time of order. Notable models include the Sonoma Trail Supreme, built with American steer hides, stainless steel dees, in-skirt rigging, contoured skirt, turned fenders, basket weave with rope border tooling, hand-stitched cantle, and berry conchos; the Sunset Supreme Barrel Racer; the Supreme Roper Reiner; the Supreme Lady Trail; and the Cheyenne Ranch Roper. Saddle prices generally run from roughly $750 for entry Fabtron models to over $3,500 for top Crates builds. Tack and accessories typically fall between $20 and $100. Ordering and shipping: orders ship via UPS with tracking links and estimated delivery dates. Shipping and handling are charged in addition to product prices. International orders may incur additional charges. Express shipping is available on request for an additional fee. Fabtron does not ship on weekends or holidays. Returns: all returns require prior authorization and a return authorization code, which must be requested within 7 days of receiving a saddle or 30 days for other merchandise. Authorized returns must be received within 10 business days of the code being issued. Returns must arrive new and unused with tags attached, protective covering intact, and a copy of the packing slip. A 20% restock fee applies, the customer pays return shipping, and shipping charges are not refunded unless Fabtron deems the item defective. Custom-ordered saddles are not returnable or refundable unless deemed defective. A saddle showing scratches beyond natural leather scarring, wear marks, horse hair, or scuffed stirrups is not returnable, so a sheet or towel should be used when first trying on a saddle for fit. Defective merchandise is repaired or replaced at Fabtron's discretion. Saddle fit: to help confirm fit before purchase, Fabtron offers the option to buy the saddle tree separately so riders can check how the saddle will sit on the horse and confirm seat size.
